The first in 2010 issue of World Journal Psychotherapy is published. This issue consist of: (1) introduction section, (2) review of much news in the field of psychotherapy and mental health, (3) papers from several international and national organizations in the field of psychotherapy and mental health and (4) articles of well-known psychotherapists and mental health researchers.

World Journal Psychotherapy began publication in 2008 by Canadian company Softex Plus Inc. under a methodical management of the World Council for Psychotherapy (Prof. Alfred Pritz, President and Prof. Viktor Makarov, Vice-President). A new article to World Journal "Psychotherapy" was received from an talented Austrian researcher

June 5, 2009. Dr Tamas Fazekas has sent to World Journal "Psychotherapy" the article named „Therapy of the Other. Philosophical foundation of an intercultural Psychotherapy”.
Dr Fasecas said in his cover letter: “The article is analyzing the phenomenological basis of being different as the other in everyday life with the focus on intercultural relationships. Furthermore, it tries to clarify some common unsharpness in the use of the term otherness to finally discussing the possibility of something like intercultural psychotherapy from a philosophical perspective. I feel that communicating this basic analysis will contribute to reduce interrelational prejudices and to add a new concept of difference”.

May 22, 2009. Prof. Alfred Pritz and co-authors have sent to World Journal "Psychotherapy" the article named “The Relation of the Shahed Students Perception of their Campus Environment and Individual and Familial Characteristics with social adjustment”. Prof. Alfred Pritz is Chair of the International board of experts of the World Journal "Psychotherapy", President of the World Council for Psychotherapy (WCP), General Secretary of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), Rector of the Sigmund Freud University, Vienna. His co-authors is Prof. Mohammad Khodayarifard, President, Institute of Psychology and Education University of Tehran, Dr. Golrokh Ebadi Fard Azar, Assistant Professor, Language Department, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tehran and Dr. Mohsen Paknejad, Faculty of Psychology and Education University of Tehran.

April 30, 2009. The first in 2009 issue (April) of World Journal Psychotherapy is already published. World Journal Psychotherapy began publication in 2008 by Canadian company Softex Plus Inc. under a methodical management of the World Council of Psychotherapy (Prof. Alfred Pritz, President and Prof. Viktor Makarov, Vice-President).

This issue consist of:

Presentation of the World Journal «Psychotherapy» in China

The 5th World Congress for Psychotherapy “East meets West - The Global Challenge in Psychotherapy", which gathered about 5000 participants, took place from 12th till 15th of October 2008 in Beijing , China . The organizers of the congress are the following: World Council for Psychotherapy and Chinese Federation for Psychotherapy under auspices of European Association for Psychotherapy and Asian Federation for Psychotherapy. At the opening ceremony of the congress the editor-in-chief of the journal, vice-president of the World Council for Psychotherapy professor Victor Makarov in the welcoming speech informed colleagues about publication of a conceptually new journal - World Journal «Psychotherapy», the planned mission of which lies in integration of psychotherapists all over the world and creation of a worldwide psychotherapeutic information space for professionals.
